The project, which focused on developing a Bacillus thuringiensis cell-free system as a transcription-translation tool in synthetic biology, received funding from the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation in Mexico (2024-2026).
We received support from IDEAS GTO, México, to develop sensitive methods for detecting Listeria monocytogenes and L. innocua using synthetic RNA-based biosensors and isothermal amplifications (2023-2024).
In November 2025, we received the UG Research Award 2025, named Wenceslao X. López Martín del Campo, in Biology-Chemistry from the University of Guanajuato.
